Basic Cutting |
Vertical cuts are made with the guide on the front rail. Make perpendicular cuts on the QuiltCut Pro by moving the cutting guide assembly from the front rail to the side rails.
The cutting guide fits on both the right and left rails to reach the entire cutting area.
Unique Cam Action |
The unique cam action of the cutting guide head assures accuracy and stability when cutting. Simply tilt the cutting guide up to move it along the rails. When the cutting guide is lowered, it is secured and squared by the rails. |

Mat-Saver Strips |
This great addition, included with the QuiltCut Pro, greatly increases your production cutting abilities, and it will extend the life of your cutting mat. These simple strips increase the efficiency of production work. The Mat-Saver Strips are inserted into the rails to provide an easy method for positioning the cutting guide while making repetitive cuts. Adjusting the location of the starting points between sets of cuts allows you to cut in different places on the mat, increasing the life of the cutting mat. Six unmarked Mat-Saver Strips come with your QuiltCut Pro, three semi-transparent colors and two sizes, 27" and 36". We also include a dry-erase pen for you to mark the strips, according to your needs. |
Begin by making a mark near one end to use as a starting point. Then mark each measurement depending upon what you are cutting. Label the strip for each use. When lining up your fabric to cut - use the rulers on the rail or use the Mat-Saver Strips to align the cutting guide. |
How they work |
Slide the Mat-Saver Strip into a rail slot. It slides over the rulers within the slot. Align the cutting guide with the marks on the Mat-Saver Strip and cut. When done cutting remove these pieces from the mat. Before your next set of cuts pull the fabric on to the QuiltCut Pro and slide the Mat-Saver Strip slightly to the left or right, thus extending the life of your cutting mat. |
