Prices for Machine Quilting
Basting
$15.00 per square yard (Minimum charge - $40.00)
Quilt will be basted and edges stabilized, ready for hand quilting.
Simple Over All Pattern
$20 per square yard (Minimum charge - $40.00)
This quilting is also called edge to edge or all over quilting. This is one simple design over the entire quilt.
Complex Over All
$40 per square yard (Minimum charge - $80.00)
Beautiful freehand patterns designed to fill your quilt with dense quilting.
Custom Quilting
$60 per square yard (Minimum charge - $120.00)
Includes a combination of block designs, feathers, and border designs.
Heirloom Quilting
$80 (and up) per square yard (Minimum charge - $160.00)
Includes many different types of quilting such as stitch in the ditch, stippling, feathers, sashing designs, multiple borders, inset block designs, trapunto, and Baptist Fans. Some “Heirloom Quilting” work will be given an estimated cost.
Wholecloth Quilt – Pre-marked
$70 to $120 per square yard (Minimum charge - $150.00)
To calculate the square yardage of your quilt, multiply the length (in inches) by the width (in inches) and divide the result by 1296.

Approximate square yardage of quilts:
Crib – 2.00 square yards
Twin – 6.00 square yards
Full or double – 7.00 square yards
Queen – 7.50 square yards
King – 9.00 square yard
Thread
I use many different high quality threads to include poly, cotton covered poly, cotton, variegated and specialty threads. I will help you decide which thread colors will best enhance your quilt.
Batting
Most high quality battings can be used for machine quilting. I offer Quilter’s Dream Batting in Poly, Cotton, Cotton Dream Blend (70%cotton/30%poly), Midnight Black Poly, Dream Angel, Dream Puff and Dream Wool.
Binding services
- Make binding (you supply fabric) - .05 per inch.
- Attach binding to front of quilt by machine - .10 per inch.
- Hand sew binding to back of quilt - .15 per inch.
Other services:
- Press quilt top or back - $10.00 and up.
- Piece back - $10.00 per seam (less than 80”) or $15.00 per seam (80” and up).
- Square quilt top or back - $10.00.
- Repairs to quilt top or repair ‘wavy” borders - $25.00 per hour.
- Other services at $25.00 per hour.
